We used to think about ʻrecession-proofʼ jobs, but the new buzzword off the back of 2020 is a ʻpandemic-proofʼ career. Healthcare is one of the top fields to be in when it comes to a job that will provide for you and your family during unprecedented times like these. People will always need healthcare and dental care is no exception. LinkedIn’s UK Jobs on the Rise in 2021 report looked at the rise in job categories during the height of the pandemic compared to the previous year. It found that “specialised medical professional roles grew by 58 per cent in 2020” along with a “104 per cent growth in healthcare supporting staff roles”.
