Before covid-related restrictions like social distancing and remote working were introduced, the workplace was one of the most common locations for romance to blossom, with statistics showing that around 24 per cent of people admitted having some form of workplace dalliance in the past.

When you consider that most of our lives are spent at work, these statistics shouldn’t come as a major surprise, especially for those working in close quarters, like dental practices, where there is a lot of personal interaction. However, beginning a workplace romance is not without its risks, especially for dental nurses who may start a relationship with a colleague who is also their manager/superior.
