If your career as a dental nurse has spanned decades, it’s likely that you have already completed a fair amount of dental safeguarding courses. As a newcomer to the profession, perhaps you have only experienced one or two dental safeguarding training courses in your work so far.

Regardless of your experience in the industry, however, one thing should remain the same for all dental nurses (and, indeed, every member of the dental team): You should have a keen awareness and a firm understanding of the absolute importance of dental safeguarding training. It is just as important that you know exactly why your safeguarding certificate needs to always be up to date.
