I have been attending dental shows for a decade now – a mere novice compared to some, an old hand to any newly qualified dental nurses out there. As a non-dental professional, my role is to report on these events and write about the new and exciting products on offer. This may include the valuable learning opportunities enjoyed by delegates as well as the fun stuff – the parties and the networking and so on. In essence, the coming together of an industry that is ever changing. And, more often than not, a meander through the aisles of the exhibition hall can elicit insight into the many ways the profession is developing.
