Everyone who comes into contact with children or adults in health and care services has a responsibility to make safeguarding a priority. This responsibility includes ensuring that safeguarding training for all staff in your practice has been complete, and certificates are all up to date. With the expectations surrounding safeguarding changing frequently, training certificates commonly expire within one or two years of completion of a course.
