What are your options when it comes to safeguarding courses?

As a leading player in dental-specific safeguarding training – with courses recommended by the British Dental Association – here at ChildProtectionCompany.com we are often asked what training different members of dental practices should entail. Everyone who comes into contact with children or adults in health and care services has a responsibility to make safeguarding a priority. This responsibility includes ensuring that safeguarding training for all staff in your practice has been complete, and certificates are all up to date. With the expectations surrounding safeguarding changing frequently, training certificates commonly expire within one or two years of completion of a course.

CQC inspectors are very clear on the type of safeguarding training they require from staff at all levels in a dental practice. Minimum training requirements are as follows:
