Are you trained to communicate at the optimum level? The role of a treatment coordinator is to remove 90% of non-clinical dentistry from the dentist. So, what does it take to have impact and get results? We hear from award-winning dentist Andrea Ubhi and dental nurse and TCO Carmel Wood

The role of a treatment coordinator (TCO) enables a whole dental team to engage with patients on a different level. It is a varied role and one that involves meeting new people daily, helping to change their perception of dentistry and, at the same time, increasing the uptake of appropriate treatment plans. In any given dental practice, each patient has every question patiently answered.

Every patient who chooses to come to our practice is expecting a high level of customer service. It is of high importance that all new patients are dealt with in an efficient manner that provides solutions to their needs.
