Patients should be given as much information as possible about proposed dental treatment so they make an informed decision about it.
In our practice, photographs and imaging are used in nearly all types of appointments. This has greatly helped us educate patients and means patients are more likely to accept treatment.
Images of a patient’s mouth, whether of their teeth or gingiva or other soft tissues, have many purposes.
They can be used to educate patients, as an aid to treatment planning and when presenting treatment plans to patients.
Before and after pictures can be used to show prospective patients the results of treatments provided by your practice. These pictures can be used alongside testimonials from patients who have had such treatments carried out.
