The sky’s the limit

4 mins read Leadership/team working
Dental nurse Amber Williams talks to Fiona Ellwood about why her first-hand experience of dental inequalities is propelling her to new heights in order to help.

Amber Williams started her career as a dental nurse aged 16, qualifying last year. Since then, she has become a locum, which has given her a wealth of opportunities to develop her skills in areas outside of general dental nursing.

She mainly practises around the North West of England – “I have also nursed in Birmingham and Wales, too. I absolutely love the flexibility, meeting new people, and gaining different skills daily.”

She recently raised much-needed funds for the charity Dentaid by taking part in a skydive because, she says, she values the fact that they provide free dental care for homeless and vulnerable people.
