from practices based in the heart of their communities. An innovative company, it is one of the South West of England’s largest NHS referral and emergency providers and functions as an employee-owned community interest company.
Corey Wedlake is an apprentice dental nurse with Smile Together. Born in Cornwall, he moved to the US at the age of three and then returned to Cornwall when he was 13. He has two younger sisters, both of whom are trainee dental nurses. He says: ‘Not only have my sisters inspired me to progress with a dental nursing career but, as a retained fire fighter, I have this deep desire to help others.
