The blurring of problems

Fiona Ellwood, on behalf of the Society of British Dental Nurses, outlines the challenges of confusing current issues in dentistry, and having the wrong conversations at the wrong table.

In the following opinion piece, I am keen to make clear that if someone attends a meeting which has many points to cover, and you wish to make a point of your own… It is well worth asking what you are going to achieve. Even more so, how much of that point is likely to be heard, listened to, taken on board, or even actioned?

I have always been one for deconstructing and reconstructing policies, papers, and guidance, as well as adopting the ever-moving governance world that we live in. This therefore is an ideal opportunity to ensure the right messages land in the right places and with the right people.
