However, whilst we welcome the vast potential for AI to revolutionise the field of dentistry, it is just as vital to ask questions regarding the ethical, professional, and practical implications going forward. The human touch, after all, is the backbone of our patient care system… So, is it wise to allow algorithms to make decisions about our oral health?
