Staying connected

During this pandemic, it’s been especially challenging for the older and vulnerable patients, says practice manager Gurjit Sonsoy

I came to dental nursing quite late in life, after a major career change from retail, and I haven’t looked back. I work at St John’s Dental Practice in Birmingham, a private practice with a mixed patient base that offers high-end cosmetic and dental procedures.

I have been a dental nurse for 15 years and a practice manager for four. I started at St John’s with no experience whatsoever. Over the years, I have focused on my self-development; learning through courses to enhance my skills. My main passion is patient care and I believe this should be of the highest standard – it’s what I aim to always offer our patients.
