I am a dental hygienist who has been in clinical practice for 23 years, and more recently I have worked as a dry mouth specialist with Oralieve, clinical educator for Waterpik and a care home trainer for Knowledge Oral Health Care. I like to keep busy, so when I saw that Smile Revolution’s Victoria Wilson was running a course called ‘How to launch an oral health promotion project/business’, I knew I had to take part.
It seemed an excellent platform in which to format my ideas, gain support and validation, learn from others and propel my ideas into a fully sustainable reality – I was full of ideas but lacked direction on how to implement them!
