The photo to the right is of Danielle Schroven, a dental nurse who shares her experience of returning to clinic in this issue. She says: ‘I thought I’d share a photo of me on completing an aerosol-generated procedure (AGP) session. I was extremely hot and my face was so sore. I will forever have gratitude to the nurses working on the COVID-19 hospital wards. Wearing this personal protection equipment (PPE) 24/7 on shift must be awful. I’m grateful for the lovely team with whom I work. The support has been immense. I wish lots of luck to all the dental nurses and other health care professionals who have yet to wear this. Stay positive and remember why you are doing the job you are doing!’
