Question: I have applied to join the register for the first time and believe I have to sign a declaration in relation to infectious diseases and blood-borne viruses. Does this mean that I have to be screened?
Answer: This means you have already completed a Hepatitis C inocculation programme and have the relevant documentation to prove this.
Question: How do I know that the continual professional development evidence I am gathering is from a worthy provider and it meets the GDC standards?
Answer: Throughout all professions the trend to measure CPD by terms of ‘input’ is being replaced by the requirement to measure CPD by ‘output’, in terms of how, by doing that CPD, the professional is better able to perform their duties to a higher standard than before they completed the activity in question.
