I have just completed a year with a fantastic private practice and am very glad I did. I fancied a change from NHS, and it has taught me a lot. As a dental nurse, you are always learning – no matter how old you are or how long you have been nursing.
I am now currently working with a great little practice three days a week and they offer NHS and private dentistry – I'm happy to be part of such a great team.
From reception to management, mentoring apprentices to working with dental hygienists, in aesthetic and facial aesthetics and implantology – I've covered pretty much everything! I have a BDA qualification in Oral Health Education, which I try to use as much as possible.
