The International Team for Implantology (ITI) was formed in 1980 with the aim to be an inclusive forum for learning and development in implant dentistry. The ITI is led by its members across the world to explore, research and disseminate information and knowledge to like minded colleagues.
The ITI (UK & Ireland) Section has decided to launch the ITI dental nurse membership with the same philosophies and principles, with the key focus being it is led by dental nurses for dental nurses.
The collaborative mission of the ITI dental nurses is to create and expand an educational platform for dental nurses in the UK by supporting and educating them regarding their role in implant dentistry and other associated surgical procedures, as well as sharing knowledge in a safe and welcoming environment for all dental nurses. Their projects are being supported by ITI Fellows, Rajan Patel and Tim Harris.
