Looking ahead

Last month, Denplan hosted a roundtable event at Twickenham Stadium to discuss the results of its consumer oral health survey. Attended by representatives of Denplan, Dentaid and members of the dental press, it was a great opportunity to assess the current state of the public’s oral health and how it has been affected by the pandemic.

Catherine Rutland, clinical director at Denplan and Simplyhealth, said, “Denplan, part of Simplyhealth, has for many years conducted an annual consumer survey to gain invaluable insights into the nation’s oral health, to ensure that as a profession we are able to respond accordingly to meet our patient’s needs. After a pause due to the pandemic in 2020-21, I was pleased to launch this year’s report at a roundtable with our charity partner Dentaid and delighted that we were joined by a group of inspiring dental professionals.
