Whilst the COVID-19 crisis may have limited our opportunity to exercise of late, physical activity remains a major part of living healthier, happier lives. Whatever the current situation, we can all embrace a more active routine

When lockdown hit the UK back in March due to the global coronavirus crisis, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that the government restrictions meant that ‘one form of exercise’ was permitted outside the home each day – ‘alone or with members of your household’. He added that ‘even when doing these activities, you should be minimising time spent outside of the home and ensuring you are two metres apart from anyone outside of your household’.

In these past few months, stress levels have peaked and we’ve all needed to readjust to a new order of things. Exercise may well have taken a backseat but arguably now more than ever it’s important to consider our physical as well as our mental health.
