There is an account of a dental nurse who attended a traffic accident involving a father and his son. Sadly the father died on the scene. The son was seriously injured and taken to the local hospital where he needed emergency surgery to save his life.
The surgeon, seeing the boy, said: ‘I can’t operate on this boy, he is my son’. How can this be? Think about it before you read on.
Who is the surgeon?
There are two possible answers to this riddle. Firstly, the boy’s parents might have been gay or secondly, the surgeon was his mother. How many of you reading this came to either of these solutions instantly?
