Clinical lead dental nurse Annabelle Ariza shares her passion for this life-changing dental specialty – both professionally and personally

I trained as a dental nurse at King’s College Hospital and it really does give you a taste of every specialty within dentistry – from orthodontics to endodontics and everything in between. I was lucky enough to experience it all and not one educational stone was unturned. My philosophy has always been ‘you get what you put in’ and I did not want to just hold the title of dental nurse, I wanted to be the best version of myselfthrough my dental nursing training.

I am a people person, and this is one of the things that attracted me to this career in dentistry. After qualifying as a dental nurse in 2017, many doors opened and opportunities came knocking. However, I had my heart set on working in south west London where I was brought up and had grown to love throughout the years.
