Natalie Totton has been a dental nurse for nearly 10 years. Discussing how her journey into the profession begun, she explains, “Like a lot of people, I didn’t know what I wanted to do when I finished school. I came across a job advert for a trainee dental nurse that sounded just what I was looking for and fell in love with the role instantly.
“My favourite thing about being a dental nurse is patient satisfaction – I love the feeling of making people happy!”
Natalie currently works at Moody Terrace & Albert Place as a qualified dental nurse, where she has been employed for seven years. The former is a general dental practice, and the latter a referral centre. It is predominantly private, however it has a small NHS contract for children, and consists of five surgeries with a team of 25.
