Aura Infection Control has donated sanitising gels and wipes to charities and good causes across the country and beyond. The company, based in Barnard Castle, County Durham, has arranged for donations to agencies working with poorly children, sustainable heating, software engineering and community resources for young people.
During the pandemic, the company diversified to supplying products and expert advice needed by front-line workers battling to keep people and patients safe. It also used its international network of suppliers to source personal protective equipment (PPE), hand hygiene and surface cleaning products at a time when government agencies worldwide were scrambling to obtain equipment to keep people safe.
