As we count down for Christmas, there is always the rush to find the best gifts for friends and family. We often start with the best intentions in September and October, wanting to plan and check for the right gifts for the right people, never wanting to leave things to the last minute ending up giving the same gifts again and again. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to go to what I call my ‘safe list’ of gifts. The list I often use when I get stuck for time. You know the list I mean; socks, bath bombs and chocolate (or equivalent in your household) when you leave it to the last minute. Please don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with these gifts and indeed they are always greatly received. But I always view these gifts as my safe options, my go-to list when I am not sure or when I run out of time (or both).
