Preetee Hylton reviews the ITI Dental Nurses Day

October 1 of this year saw the very first face-to-face dental nurse conference at the International Team for Implantology (ITI) Congress in Edinburgh, attended by 83 delegates from all over the country. The theme for this year’s congress was ‘Future Proof’, aiming to provide an evidence-based review of current best practice in certain areas of implant dentistry. The ITI Dental Nurses Committee was first launched with the aim to be an inclusive forum for learning and development in implant dentistry with the key focus being that it is led by dental nurses, for dental nurses – our mission is to create and expand an educational platform in the UK and Ireland for dental nurses by supporting and educating them regarding their role in implant dentistry, as well as sharing knowledge and networking.
