Dreams really do come true

Beth Wrighton was 16 years old when she entered her first beauty pageant, Miss West Yorkshire. Following in the footsteps of her mother, who competed at the same age, Beth was a successful finalist and went on to receive a lot of attention on social media, enabling her to pursue modelling as a part-time career. Fashion, gym wear, bridal and beauty shoots all featured heavily in her modelling work. However, it was the world of dentistry that would eventually become her true passion.

At just 21, Beth is now a dental talent acquisition consultant for fast-growing dental nurse academy and recruitment specialist, SmileWisdom. Her journey into the dental world started at a very young age via dental nursing. In school, Beth had no idea what she wanted to do with her career but was certain that it would be something healthcare related as she always loved helping people and was a massive biology fan (not something you hear very often!). Beth eagerly comments, “Anything that’s to do with transforming people, I’m like, ‘Wow, I love it, let me do it!’”
