How did you first get involved in dentistry?
My dental journey started in an NHS practice, though I was quite lucky that the owner also had a private practice in rural Suffolk so I had exposure to both aspects of care settings. That practice owner also knew someone who was the principal of a private endodontic practice in London and kindly offered me a job there when I first moved to the big city!
During my years in London, I worked in a range of different care settings including an award-winning private paediatric practice with a range of different specialities working in a multidisciplinary setting with oral surgeons, speech and language therapists, hypnotherapists, orthodontists and paediatric dentists completing both routine dentistry, and more complex dentistry undertaken with the help of RA or IV sedation.
