Natalie Bradley explains why this annual volunteer-led dental service for homeless and vulnerably housed people needs you

Community dentist Natalie Bradley first treated homeless patients, working in an acute emergency walk-in clinic in London. For the past two years, she has volunteered with the charity, Crisis at Christmas, which provides numerous services over the festive period to the most vulnerable members of society. Treating people on mobile dental units, she describes it is as a ‘fantastic experience in making a difference’.

Crisis at Christmas operates a network of temporary day and residential centres across London, providing services and support for more than 3,900 homeless and vulnerably housed people. It operates nine centres over Christmas and relies on 10,000 volunteers who contribute their skills and time. Here, Natalie talks us through the dental side of the service.
