We hear from dental nurses in Lincolnshire on their new focus amid the pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has certainly shone a light on those most vulnerable in our communities. Many people stepped forward to join the ‘army’ of volunteers helping to protect the 1.5 million people in England most at risk from coronavirus – by shopping for them, picking up essentials and collecting meds from pharmacies.

Among them were the dental nurses from The Maltings Dental Practice in Grantham, Lincolnshire, who have been out in their community helping those who require extra assistance during the lockdown.

Practice principal, Jason Wong, who is heavily involved in helping to coordinate the redeployment of dental teams at the Nightingale Hospital in Birmingham, is delighted with their efforts.
