
As we start the new year, we often reflect on the past both professionally and personally. Human nature dictates that we seek to improve and learn from the past. This, of course, is all well and good but when we consider the fact that this is not an isolated process because our interactions occur with other people. Herein lies the dilemma as this is where the complexities emerge; our interactions are never one-sided! Behaviour can never be predicted nor can difficult situations. One must be able to navigate challenging patient interactions in the dental practice, which will lead you to be more in control and stress-free professionally.
