
I will always remember my first day in a dental practice and meeting my first boss, sitting down with them in a massive dental surgery after my interview. I had only received my GCSE results three days before and learned that I did not receive the correct grades to do the A levels that I had wanted to.
So, there I sat in my local dental practice, which felt like the last hope I had after having not been accepted into the sixth form I had wanted. I sat and waited to meet my new potential boss, who walked in at an almost staggering seven foot tall – making me feel all the more intimidated. The first question he asked me was, “So… Why do you want to do this job, Courtney?”
