Sadly, Chloe Phillips’ story is an all too familiar one. Aged just 21, she was let go from a job as a dental nurse and told that “it wasn’t the job for her”. Desperate to stay in the profession she loved, she asked if she could be considered for another role in the practice in order to “grow and develop within their business”. The answer was an empathic “no”. For Chloe, it felt like the end of her dental career.
However, one company’s loss is another’s gain – and Chloe has gone from strength to strength elsewhere in a business that chose to invest in her and whose owners “saw something in me”. Chloe recalls, “They saw my passion and my drive, within three and a half years, I went from a receptionist and dental nurse to a treatment coordinator to where I am now – a client experience manager.’
