At first, dental nursing can seem rather difficult due to the new terms and language you need to learn. I remember when I first started my journey of training within this profession, I felt I had relatively little support whilst revising this aspect of the criteria, and found that I struggled more trying to memorize all the instruments and their uses because of this.
Let's get one thing very clear, revision sucks. It feels as though you are going over and over the same content for an exam, that you know will try to sneakily catch you out somehow with their trick questions or fiddly wording. In my own experience, I’ve been asked questions about subjects that stopped me in my tracks. Revision can be difficult when you work full-time as an apprentice, so balancing and protecting study time around your busy surgery time sometimes seems like an utter impossibility, but please do not worry. We’ve all been there.
