Are we all guilty of sharing ‘too much information’?

Christmas is coming and we all get a little ‘demob happy’ around this time of year. But let's not throw caution to the wind and lose those inhibitions too early

A while back, I shared a comment piece on our Facebook page from The Telegraph entitled, Are you a serial oversharer?

In the article, the journalist (female) was lamenting the ‘share all’ culture in which we seemingly all find ourselves – and the general lack of ‘manners, professionalism and a regard for others’.

Her criticism was aimed directly at those women who see little wrong in openly discussing issues within a working environment that were (once upon a time) off-topic.

The example she gave was of a dental nurse boldly announcing her intention to head off to the bathroom to attend to those womanly issues many of us face once a month.
