The Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspected the Harley Street Centre for Endodontics on 28 February this year. My main concerns about the inspection were not about meeting the CQC's standards, but about having to explain our procedures as a specialist practice to people who were not dental specialists, and why the Harley Street Centre for Endodontics (HSCE) may differ from other practices.
I was told the inspection would take approximately two hours. The CQC also told me that inspectors might ask patients a few questions, patients had the right to refuse to answer questions and such a refusal would not negatively affect the CQC's findings.
