Embarking on my journey from being an apprentice dental nurse to becoming a qualified dental hygienist was like stepping into a whole new world. But life has a funny way of leading us down unexpected paths.
Most of my friends went off to university but I decided to take a gap year due to A-levels being so challenging and wanting to make the right career choice. I saw the opportunity of being an apprentice dental nurse and loved the idea of working and studying at the same time.
