It can be difficult to leave any job and start afresh in a new workplace. However, if you know what you are aiming to achieve and how you would like to achieve this goal, it will carry you through. Aim high and know that you can achieve what you believe. Don’t be afraid to reach above where you are now – amazing things happen when we reach outside of our comfort zone. And, if it doesn’t work out, there are other places, options and routes. The world is truly your oyster, so make the most of it.
Good fit?
First of all, how will you know that you are a good fit? Most of the time at the interview you will get a feel for the practice and the members of the team you’ll be working with. Some places offer trial days to see how you feel about the practice and how others can work with you. Understanding who you are working with is important, so research the company to understand their ethos. If possible, ask others who have a connection or who may have previous experience with the team.
