Dental charity Dentaid has a host of new volunteering opportunities for dental nurses as demand for the charity’s service in the UK soars. From Bournemouth to Folkstone and Southampton to York, the charity has already run more than 100 outreach clinics for homeless and vulnerable people this year and receives several requests for new clinics every week.
Dentaid’s two mobile dental units visit soup kitchens, hostels and shelters with volunteers providing outreach dental care for the most vulnerable people in our society. The charity also runs dental clinics for victims of domestic abuse, refugees and asylum seekers, fishing communities and those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
