As a dental nurse, it is more important than ever to value your worth and understand what you bring to dentistry as a whole. So many dental nurses that I have met are quick to put themselves down and don’t acknowledge what they bring to the table that perhaps no one else can. The talk I recently gave at the BDIA Dental Showcase was specifically aimed to help my fellow dental nurses understand that their professional value is as important as any other dental professional and should be equally recognised.
Trying to figure out your passions that align with your values is not always something that stands out as important to some, and it may be something you have to dig deep to find. Think about what you want to do more of or value the most at work. These likely link closely with your passions. Once you’ve found your inner passion you’ll know exactly how this fits into your life, values, projects and future goals.
