National riots ‘fuelled by racism’ condemned by nursing association

The statement, released by the DDAG, has condemned the unrest and violence taking place over the country and understands “the personal impact these events will have on the workforce and communities.”

The DDAG have expressed their commitment to “advocating for and calling out discrimination, prejudice and bias”. Also, they have urged the profession “to stand strong and in solidarity with each other regardless of race, ethnicity or faith and to continue to provide oral health care for patients during this challenging time with the kindness, respect and dignity that they always have done.”
