
The partnership has enabled the charity’s dental units to visit new locations across the country. Its volunteer dental professionals provide treatment and oral health programmes for people experiencing homelessness and poverty, survivors of abuse and those at risk of harm.
Oral-B and Dentaid’s partnership, now in its second year, aims to make oral care accessible to all. By taking mobile dental services to locations such as hostels, community centres and projects run by its charity partners, Dentaid is helping break down the practical, emotional and physical barriers that its vulnerable patients often face when accessing dental care.
According to data from the Oral Health Foundation, almost one in three adults have tooth decay, while two million adults travel at least 40 miles to access dental services. The collaboration aims to bridge this gap by bringing dental care directly to those in need.
