Nominations for its 2021 Annual Awards are now open and the Janet Goodwin DCP Award will recognise the work of the dental nurse who was a staunch advocate for the advancement and recognition of DCPs within the wider profession. The categories for the 2021 Annual Awards are:
The Janet Goodwin Award is open to all GDC-registered dental care professionals, and will recognise leadership by example, and advocacy for the whole-team approach to dental care. The winner of the Janet Goodwin Award will also receive Affiliate Membership of FGDP(UK), and its associated benefits, for 2021-22.
Nominees for the Community Contribution Award need to be a GDC-registered dentist or DCP and a member of FGDP(UK). This category recognises those who have made a significant contribution to improving oral care in their local community.
