A new focus for orthodontic team members at BOC 2018

1 min read Orthodontics
The Orthodontic National Group, the organisation of orthodontic nurses and therapists affiliated to the British Orthodontic Society, has lined up two days of conference sessions for members under the auspices of this year’s British Orthodontic Conference (BOC) in London (September 27-29).

This year, the Allied Health Professionals Programme is broken down into two separate days. Friday 28 September is aimed at orthodontic therapists while Saturday 29 September is for orthodontic dental nurses. Whatever your role, you are welcome at either day!

Friday’s programme includes a lecture from the acclaimed Simon Littlewood discussing the therapist’s role. Also look out for Colin Melrose and John Scholey, two excellent and popular speakers, both consultant orthodontists who are doing a joint presentation. There is an opportunity for therapists to join the Practice Development Programme, also on Friday and discuss the way forward for therapists, ten years after the role was created.
