Start 2018 with a career boost by joining colleagues at April's dental nurse symposium.

April sees the annual dental nurse symposium, hosted by the Society of British Dental Nurses (SBDN).

The event – taking place on 21 April at the Jury’s Inn Hotel, East Midlands Airport – will focus on what’s trending in modern dentistry as well as cover core topics.

Topics under discussion include:

  • The use of cigarette and shisha pipes
  • Radiation and radiograph, IRR and IRMER updates
  • Infection control
  • How to get involved in helping the homeless
  • The role of the dental nurse in making dental trays and mouthguards.

Speakers include Elaine Tilling, Barbara Lamb, Leonora Ward and Dentaid’s Andy Evans and Emma Riley, the Society's new national chair, will make her inaugural speech.

The Early Bird offer of £30 applies until 1 March and all refreshments, lunch and parking are included in the price, plus 5.5 hours verifiable CPD.
