Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) have had a phenomenal explosive rise in usage in the UK.They first hit the market in England in 2005.According to Public Health England, it was estimated that around 5% of the population reported using them in 2015.It can be reasonably predicted that the usage has increased.

What is it exactly?

The general premise of e-cigarettes is that battery power is used to heat an element to disperse a solution of propylene glycol or glycerine, water, flavouring and usually nicotine, converting liquid to an aerosol which can be inhaled by the user.The inhalation is commonly referred to as vapour and hence the term vaping is used to describe the inhalation and exhalation of the vapour produced.Generally, there is significant variation between the range of products.
