The impact that the coronavirus outbreak is still having on our lives may cause us to feel anxious, stressed, worried, sad, or frustrated. These emotions are getting mixed with the long hours, wearing heavy PPE and the heatwave, lack of work-life balance, stressful management, the new pressures of team working, and financial issues. The pace of dentistry is relentless and we can easily get the feeling of surviving rather than thriving. It feels as if we are caught on a hamster wheel – just getting through the day without knowing how to get off. This can feel frustrating and exhausting. If you feel these emotions lately, I just wanted to let you know that’s normal and you are not alone. I will share a few tips you can easily incorporate into your days for a happier life.
