Student dental nurse scoops award

A student dental nurse has been rewarded for her exceptional work.

The British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN) has recognised the exceptional commitment of student dental nurse Rebecca Silver, who recently graduated from the University of Kent with the Foundation Degree in Advanced Dental Nursing.

Rebecca was nominated not only for her exceptional work on the course, but for her dedication to cascading what she had learned to colleagues and implementing her new knowledge and skills in her dental nursing practice.

The awards was presented at the BADN's National Dental Nursing Conference, held in Blackpool in November.

President Hazel Coey also presented three long-standing members – Janet Goodwin, Joan Hatchard and Maureen Stone with a brooch each to commemorate 25 years BADN membership.
