Participants are asked about their level of training and experience, the characteristics of their practice, and their willingness to undertake training and participate in research.
The survey is being conducted by the Oral and Dental Health Specialty Group of the National Institute for Health Research, and is supported by FGDP(UK), the Chief Dental Officers for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, the Dental Schools Council and the British Society for Oral and Dental Research. Since 2017, the organisations have worked together as the Priority Setting Partnership for Oral and Dental Health Research to identify and prioritise unanswered oral health research questions, and recently set out their top ten.
