You may feel that writing articles is something that only lecturers and consultants undertake; but think about the articles that you want to read—who better to write them than a practising dental nurse? With a little help and determination, and if you follow this series, then you should feel confident to start writing your first article.
Previous articles in this series have explored what can motivate a dental nurse to consider publishing and some guidance on how to structure an article has been given. This article examines different types of articles that you may consider writing.
If you flick through this copy of Dental Nursing, you will see that there are different styles of articles, all of them are useful, but some will appeal to you more than others. This article discusses what are for me, some of the most interesting article styles—that of client case studies and project work. I always find myself drawn to these in any professional journal.
