I have always had a huge interest in healthy eating and nutritious foods, and my educational background includes a BA in Psychology, an MSc in Health Psychology and PhD in Health Promotion.
Since becoming a mother to two young boys, I’ve found that providing healthy food choices and good nutrition can indeed be challenging and frustrating (especially trying to keep all family members healthy, happy and well nourished!).
So, I returned to college to complete an internationally recognised qualification in Nutrition and Health Coaching with the Irish Institute of Nutrition & Health. In addition, I undertook additional training to help parents of fussy eaters and I completed training in Food Parenting with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in United States. I also learned about best international practice from countries including New Zealand, Canada and Australia, and adapted this to a European context.
